New Opportunities, New Role

The AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) wanted to pass along some changes with the AASHTOWare Project support team from Infotech.

 

Monelle McKay retired from full-time employment with Infotech as of January 31, 2021, after 17 years.  Over her career of 30 years, Monelle worked with multiple DOTs both in the US and Canada.  Her experience with construction management systems actually predates AASHTOWare.

License Fees and Offerings for next Fiscal Year (FY22)

February 25, 2021

The AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF) has reviewed the current product licensing structure and has set licensing fees for FY22 (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022). The PTF is aware of the financial impact that our licensees have endured due to the COVID19 pandemic and has determined there will not be an increase in FY22 license fees. With that being said, the PTF will consider raising the license fees again in FY23.

Accessing the New Infotech Mobile Inspector® PWA

In April of 2020, a new version of Infotech’s Mobile Inspector ® was launched as a Progressive Web Application (PWA).  Like AASHTOWare Project Mobile Tester™, Mobile Inspector® 2.1 is a web-based application developed to work on current Android, Apple, or Windows devices whether connected or offline and it no longer requires an app store or Google Play download. An Update on the AASHTOWare Project Strategic Plan

The AASHTOWare Project Strategic Planning Subgroup was created to ensure AASHTOWare Project maintains a proactive, strategic alignment with AASHTO, the annual Maintenance, Support, and Enhancement (MSE), the Special Committee on AASHTOWare (SCOA), and the Technical and Application Architecture Taskforce (T&AA). This subgroup is responsible for developing, evaluating, and aligning the AASHTOWare Project Strategic Plan.
