Page - Technical Review Teams (TRT)s

A Technical Review Team (TRT) oversees the development work on enhancements or new project development. TRT members are appointed by the AASHTOWare Project Task Force (PTF). It serves as an advisory group to the PTF on the development of new software. There may be only one representative per agency. Each TRT is chaired by a PTF member.

If you are interested in joining a TRT, please download, fill out, and submit the following form to the AASHTOWare Project Task Force Chair, Janet Treadway, or the AASHTO Project Manager, Brian Korschgen, for consideration.  As part of your application, please include communication from your supervisor supporting your request to join.

This web-based AASHTOWare Project Development Workflow Diagram flowchart documents the process from the time the Project Task Force (PTF) selects an enhancement Ticketed Modification Request (TMR) for inclusion in a future release, through TRT pre-design review, Feature Package Group formation, FPG design review, development, and all testing (FPG, TRT alpha, and beta).  This will help the current Technical Review Team (TRT) members understand their role in the overall process whether they volunteer for an FPG or not, and will help others in the community better understand the overall process and the time commitment from the TRT volunteers.
